Cruise Control for Suzuki DL800, DL800 DE & DL800 RE V-Strom from 2023 TBW

This cruise control fits all variants of the DL800 V-Strom from 2023, the DL800, the DL800 DE and the DL800 RE and Touring variants.

The Motorcycle Cruise Control unit is adapted specifically for this vehicle, with a custom made and fully plug and play wiring harness, using genuine connectors and terminals as used by the manufacturer. There is no wire splicing or any other permanent changes made to your bike.

Cruise control switch - there are two switch options to choose from and three mounting options for the seconds switch (see photos).  Please download and read the brochure (link below) so you can understand how these options fit on the bike.

1. New Slim MCCruise switch: Our new fully-featured and weatherproof switch which is a no cost option, and is fitted between the bike's switch block and the clutch lever mount (manual shift) or hand brake mount (DCT). Backlit buttons for night use, power (ON-OFF) indicator light and engage indicator light. The switch is 10mm (3/8") wide, so it may be necessary to slide the clutch lever assembly across to make space to mount the switch on the handlebar. Contact us for installation instructions if you wish to see how it is fitted.
   
   
2. Original style MCCruise switch with standard mounting bracket: Our proven, fully-featured and weatherproof switch which comes standard with all of our products. Backlit buttons for night use, power (ON-OFF) indicator light and engage indicator light.  This is for the standard DE hand guards that mount on the bike's mirror mount, the standard hi mounted bracket must be specified.  This bracket may also be used if the bike does NOT have the DE original hand guards fitted.
   
   
3. Original style MCCruise switch with optional low mounting bracket: If the bike does NOT have the DE original hand guards that mount on the bike's mirror mount, this lower bracket can be purchased instead.
   
   
4. Original style MCCruise switch with optional high mounting bracket: If the bike does NOT have the DE original hand guards that mount on the bike's mirror mount, this higher bracket can be purchased instead.

Speed bump setting: The cruise computer is fully configurable by the user for either km/h or mph.

The electronic cruise control unit is shipped worldwide with all parts, parts list and detailed installation instructions for this kit.

Aftermarket/Accessory LED brake lights and brake light modulators.

If your bike is fitted with, or you intend to fit, aftermarket LED brake lights or a Brake Light Modulator, the cruise control will not work unless the LED Brake Light Harness Modification is fitted.  This modification is built into the wiring harness when the harness is made for the bike.  This bike has LED brake lights from the factory, but does NOT need this modification done for the standard brake lights.

Diagnostic Dongle for motorcycles

Many off road riders install CAN-BUS fuel or off-road dongles that are permanently connected to the diagnostic plug on their bikes. The MCCruise also taps into this plug, so to have two connections, a pass-through patch harness is required to support accessories downstream of the MCCruise connection. To facilitate this process, MCCruise can makes a specific connector for this motorcycle.  Check the photos above and compare to your bike.  If the diagnostic plug is connected to the blanking plug as shown in the photo, you do not need to do anything.
