The Motorcycle Cruise Control unit is adapted specifically for this vehicle, with a custom made and fully plug and play wiring harness, using genuine connectors and terminals as used by the manufacturer. There is no wire splicing or any other permanent changes made to your bike.

The motorcycle cruise installation instructions and specific cruise manuals and supporting documents can be found here.

Cruise Control Switch - there are several options to choose from (see photos):

          Manual shift bikes:

          1. New Slim MCCruise switch: Our new fully-featured and weatherproof switch, which is a no cost option and is fitted between the bike's switch block and the clutch lever mount. Backlit buttons for night use, power (ON-OFF) indicator light and engage indicator light. The switch is 10mm (3/8") wide, so it may be necessary to slide the clutch lever assembly across to make space to mount the switch on the handlebar. Contact us for installation instructions if you wish to see how it is fitted.

          2. MCCruise switch: Our proven, fully-featured and weatherproof switch which comes standard with all of our products. Backlit buttons for night use, power (ON-OFF) indicator light and engage indicator light. This is mounted above the handlebar.

          DCT / Auto shift bikes:

          1. New Slim MCCruise switch: Our new fully-featured and weatherproof switch, which is a no cost option, and is fitted between the bike's switch block and the handbrake lever mount. Backlit buttons for night use, power (ON-OFF) indicator light and engage indicator light. The switch is 10mm (3/8") wide, so it may be necessary to slide the handbrake lever assembly across to make space to mount the switch on the handlebar, or it can be fitted between the grip and the bike's switch gear, or can be fitted on the right side handlebar, between the brake lever mount and the bike's switch block. Contact us for installation instructions if you wish to see how it is fitted.

          2. MCCruise switch on the right side: The switch can be mounted so the button positions are reversed for right side mounting.  The photo does not show this, but we will supply the switch with the button positions reversed. This may be mounted above or below the handlebar. Using the switch on the right side is also slightly more difficult for the rider, pressing the buttons while holding the throttle steady takes some 'learning'.

In order to fit this cruise control kit, small terminals have to be backed out of connector housings.
This requires suitable terminal extractor tools. See the product brochure for details about these tools. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE TERMINAL EXTRACTOR TOOLS

NOTE: - The manual shift version can only be supplied with the control switch mounted above the handlebars, below handlebar mounting is only available on the DCT model. If you have handlebar rises fitted, it may be possible to fit the switch below the bar on manual shift versions. Contact us for information about suitable switch mounting brackets.

The electronic cruise control unit is shipped worldwide with all parts, parts list and detailed installation instructions for this kit.

If your bike is fitted with (or you plan to fit) LED brake lights or a brake-light modulator, then a modification to the wiring harness is required to make the cruise control work. Please select the LED brake light option before adding your purchase to the Cart.

              Great!!!

This made my highway and outside city trips much, much easier. I cannot make a statement regarding consumption since I haven’t gotten it installed for too long.
A challenge to install the Cruise Control by myself but rewarding nonetheless - the no-cut installation is also clean - pin removal tools are a must. I’ve installed the controller on the left side of the handlebars since the simultaneous throttle control felt awkward.

              Great upgrade

McCruise works great with my VFR1200F DCT. Have had it installed for a couple of days and have done ~100 miles so far... works as advertised especially at highway speeds. Long term reliability TBD
Great ordering process and fast shipping to the USA. Installation instructions are wonderful... only tricky parts are removing and installing terminals (Especially the TPS which takes some fiddling but I eventually got)... buy the tools for sure and be patient.
I expect this modification will make this bike my go-to for long trips.
