MCCruise New Slimline Switch

The new switch can replace many existing motorcycle switches or all UTV Speed Limiter setup switch.  It cannot substitute for the existing QuadCruise switches, as the connectors are different.

This switch suits all MCS4xxx, MCS6xxx and MCS7xxx cruise control kits electrically.  It works with the MCSU400C (silver aluminium box), MCS8xxxC, MCS8xxxC TBW and MCS10xxxC TBW (brown/black translucent box) cruise control computers with a black sealed 26-way harness connector from roughly 2003/4 to now.

It does NOT suit earlier MCS1xxx cruise control kits made between 1998 and 2003/4.  The cruise computers in these kits had white unsealed harness connectors of various types and number of connections.

Please ensure your motorcycle has a 10mm gap between the left-side switch block and the clutch master cylinder clamp before purchasing - or that you can move the clutch clamp to accommodate the new switch.

The switch is designed to fit standard 7/8" (22mm) diameter handlebars, but can be modified to fit larger bars up to 1" (25.4mm) as well.

There are two harness lengths available - 160cm (63") or 90cm (35").

Don't ride the storms

This is my third switch. The second switch didn't last a year. I hope this one will be better quality. It apparently does not like rain. But otherwise, the system is flawless.

Thanks for your feedback Robert. The new parts are improved, water resistance. We hope they meet your requirements.

Needs to be the default

Installed this on my 2018 Versys 1000 after I had trouble placing the switch that had come with the system I ordered. I have OEM handguards, so it couldn't go under, but I'd mounted my Oxford heated grip controller on the mirror bracket and it prevented it from going above. If this had been an option, I definitely would've chosen it. Luckily, it shipped very quickly, installed very easily, and works like a charm.

2016 Indian Scout ABS with aftermarket intake

I have an aftermarket intake which provides more than enough room to conceal the computer under the tank with much room to spare. I just had to drill one hole to mount the bracket.

I found a way to install the slimline switch vertically, between the left switch-pod and clutch lever clamp. To achieve this I had to grind away some edge material from the clutch lever clamp, file the inside diameter of the plastic switch itself to better match the handlebar diameter, and rivet it to the switch pod through the provided holes.

The connector pins are tedious little devils, but you cannot mess it up if you follow the very thorough instructions.

The system works flawlessly, and I easily configured mine to increase speed in 1 mph increments. Safety checked good...it turns off just like an OEM unit with either brake, clutch lever, or power button.

Awesome system...plus it's backlit for night riding!
