The kit can have the cruise control switch mounted either above or below the handlebar. Please indicate your preference when you order. Switches above the handlebar are recommended where tank bags may be used.

The YAMAHA FJR1300 Electronic Cruise Control unit is specifically designed for that motorcycle.

This kit includes a custom wiring harness and a pair of throttle cable removal tools.

Tony,
I got the kit, Quality and documentation are top notch. got it installed and and operating pretty much within in the time frame you specified. I went through tyhe basic test procedures to see that everything was working properly an it was. The problem I had was cable adjustment and connection to the CIU which was fairly easy to figure out. After that I took it out for a test ride and basically It works very well. I haven't gone through the rest of thre documentation yet, But if I can't make it work any better than it does now , knowing what I know I would still purchase the kit again and highly reccomend it.
