Note 6: - This kit will ONLY fit Polaris ATV's fitted with the factory speedometer with an LCD display for gear position. This cruise kit includes a voltage decoder box that connects to the vehicle's gear position indicator to detect neutral and park gear selection. It will NOT fit earlier models with separate neutral and reverse indicator lights. Note 14: - The Ranger 4x4 (4WD) & 6x6 (6WD) kit can use a speed sensor mounted on the gearbox drive shaft to the front axle. This provides more accurate and reliable speed control over rough terrain and in turns compared to the front wheel mounted speed sensor.
